The juniors have been really enjoying exploring outer space. We decide to create our own planets using styrofoam spheres and paint. The children also wanted to paint a picture of outer space too. So we combined the two activities together and created painted pictures with their 3D planets attached to them. While painting them they asked a lot of different questions relating to outer space such as, “How far away are the planets?”, How big are they?”, Where are the planets?” Who lives on the planets?” and “What colour are the planets?” Take a look at the how the juniors created their out space environments hanging up in the classroom. It’s out of this world!
