The sea monkeys out grew their tank, so we decided to move them to a bigger one. They are still pretty small so we decided to use a laser light to find them swimming around. The children counted six sea monkeys!
The children wanted to continue exploring with light. We turned off the light in our room and closed some of the blinds. They used the laser lights around the room, on the walls and the floor. They discovered the closer you stand to the wall the smaller the circle of light appears and it grows larger the further you stand away. They noticed their shadows when they placed their hands in front of the light and made different shapes on the wall.
